Processing Times
Processing of transactions conducted using MVB's Cash Management Services are subject to daily cutoff times, which are outlined below. Standard business days are considered Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays and days the Bank is authorized to close. Should you have any questions regarding business days or cutoff times, be sure to contact a Cash Management Specialist or submit your question(s) below using the "Need Help?" option.
ACH
- ACH Transactions must be initiated by 4:00 PM EST on the current business day to have the earliest effective date of the next business day. Transactions submitted after the daily cutoff time will have the earliest effective date of 2 business days.
- Same Day ACH transactions may be submitted via the Business Online Banking Service from 6:00 AM EST to 3:00 PM EST each business day.
Positive Pay
- Exception check and/or ACH items must be decisioned between 6:00 AM EST and 1:00 PM EST on the business day they populate to the "Exception Items Listing".
RDC
- Files must be received by 7:00 PM EST to be eligible for processing on the business day in which file is submitted.
SmartPay
- Payment must be received by 7:00 PM EST to be eligible for processing on the business day in which payment is submitted.
Wires
- Domestic Wire Transfer Requests must be received by the Bank by 4:30 PM EST to be processed on the business day they are submitted.
- International Wire Transfer Requests must be received by the Bank by 3:30 PM EST to be processed on the business day they are submitted.
