Our Branch Lobbies Will Fully Reopen on Monday, June 15th

To Our Customers,
It is my hope that you and your families are well. It is no secret the COVID-19 Pandemic has created challenges for businesses, families, and individuals alike. Your patience and commitment to Middletown Valley Bank as we have navigated these unparalleled times has been greatly appreciated. As we move forward, there will continue to be temporary changes in how we service customers; however, we are happy to announce the decision to fully reopen our branch lobbies on Monday, June 15, 2020. Please know, as we look to fully reopen our lobbies the safety of our customers and employees is paramount and we have implemented several precautionary measures in all our locations.
Number of Customers
Our branch lobbies will be limited to no more than ten (10) customers at one time. Should the branch already have ten (10) customers inside, we ask newly arriving customers to wait outside or in your car until someone else leaves.
Social Distancing
Each of our branch lobbies now have social distancing markers on the floor. These markers are provided to ensure every customer who enters our offices feel as comfortable as possible. Additionally, to comply with social distancing requirements, there have been some changes to our lobby setups. If you are waiting and there is not a seat available, but you would like to sit down, please ask an associate and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Protective Equipment
All branch teller lines now have plexiglass shields. The shields are temporary and are an effort to ensure both customer and employee safety. Employees will wear masks when interacting with customers and will continue to do so in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines. It is your choice if you wear a mask when entering our facilities. If you are wearing a mask, we will ask you to lower or remove your mask before entering the branch so that we may identify all persons. Once inside, you are welcome to replace your mask.
Lobby Changes
At this time, we have removed all coffee machines, snacks, candy, and pens from our lobbies. These changes are simply to mitigate the spread of germs and we assure you we plan to bring back these amenities. Should you need a pen, please ask an associate and you will be provided a free pen to keep. Additionally, we have designated an employee in each branch to clean and sanitize the lobby regularly throughout the day.
Again, these measures are to ensure both customer and employee safety. We understand that they may present obstacles and we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please know, we have every intention of returning to normal operating procedures and reintroducing all our branch amenities when federal, state, and local officials announce it is safe to do so.
