At Middletown Valley Bank, transparency to our customers is our top priority. On October 1, 2022, the Bank determined there was unauthorized access to our network. Within hours of detection of the event, the Bank implemented a series of containment and remediation measures to address the situation. At this time, we are confident no customer information was accessed.

Please know any transaction conducted via online banking or mobile banking, telephone banking, or other means of electronic transfer were posted to accounts as usual. For customers who visited our branches on Saturday, October 1, 2022 through Monday, October 3, 2022, we thank you for your cooperation and patience. Branch transactions started posting to accounts yesterday, October 3, 2022. Any branch transactions that did not post yesterday, October 3, 2022 will post today, October 4, 2022.
