Economic Impact Payments

We understand with the recent announcement of Economic Impact Payments (also known as stimulus checks), many of our customers have questions.  We have tried to answer as many questions as possible through our COVID-19 Information & Resources page; however, to highlight a few noteworthy items:

  • Economic Impact Payments will be made available to an account on the effective date of the payment.  The effective date of a payment, payment amount, and payment routing information are all provided by the IRS/U.S. Treasury.  We recommend using our Online Banking or Telephone Banking system(s) to verify transaction and balance information.  
  • Middletown Valley Bank customers may also setup text and/or email alerts to receive notifications of deposits, bill payments, etc.
  • During the last stimulus event, the government provided the “Get My Payment” tool to check the status of Economic Impact Payments.  We have not received confirmation that the process will be identical, but if you have questions about your payment, we recommend utilizing the resources provided by the IRS.
